550 miles from Calais along excellent autoroutes. Follow the autoroutes and take the Bonneville (J16) exit of the A40, follow the signposts for "Stations de Aravis". Follow signs for le Grand Bornand and then climb up to Chinaillon.

By Plane

Geneva Airport, with its regular scheduled flights, including Easy Jet, is only 50 km away. Car hire is not essential in the ski season as it is easy to get a taxi to Chinaillon and the ski bus offers a good local service. In low season there is less public transport available and fewer shops in Chinaillon are open, therefore a car would be extremely useful.

By Train

The Station at Annecy is served by the T.G.V. and is only 32km away.

By Bus

There is a daily service from Annecy to le Grand Bornand. In the ski season there are bus services from Geneva and Lyon, Saint-Exupury.

Taxi

There are excellent local taxi services in le Grand Bornand, they will provide you with a fixed price service to and from Geneva Airport.

In Chinaillon for B1 Pistes de Soleil

Once in Chinaillon take the road signposted "Pistes". Continue all the way to the top of the village and you will recognise Les Pistes de Soleil on your left. You can park at the bottom and enter through the door to the side of the garage doors, but the easiest way is to continue along the road, past the buildings and bear left, over the river. You will then come to the top of the building. We are B - the middle building. Park outside, enter through the top door beside the mail boxes, using apartment key. Take lift to level 2, as you exit the lift B1 is to your left at the end of the corridor. The garage is on level 0, garage number 3.

In Chinaillon for B1 Refuges des Outalays

Once in Chinaillon take the road signposted "Pistes" (a right turn). Cross over the river, continue on uphill and turn right just before the pistes start. Follow the road upwards until you see les Refuges des Outalays on the right. Drive past the first chalets and then enter on the access road above building B. Enter building B from the top and descend to apartment B1.
